I was curious which lotion to buy, the leather lotion, or the motorcycle leather lotion? It says they both are for the same things, but I have only heard teh motorcycle version suggested. Thanks in advance.. Chris
No difference.

They're the exact same thing just in different packaging for marketing purposes. I treat my Wested lamb with the lotion every two to three months. It works very well.

The leather JELL is ALSO marketed as lotion, so be sure you're not ordering the jell instead. I mentioned this to Eric at Pecards when I received the first prototype of the dressing, and he said the name would be changed TO Jell, but to date I'm still seeing product delivered with the lotion label. If you're wanting the water soluable lotion, that's like Lexol, order 'motorcycle leather lotion'. It's labeled as such. The jell is pretty much standard Pecards dressing in jell form, without wax. They're two completely different types of product....both GREAT, but will cause different results. Hope this helps. Regards. Michaelson
Just so you know.

I just checked the Pecard site (
http://www.pecard.com) and they do have a distinction between the jell and the lotion now.
Also, I bought the 32oz. container of lotion in August of '01 and still have over half the bottle left. I only use the stuff for my Wested so it has lasted me a long time.

Now if they'd just get the labels changed, all would be well with the world. (grins) Agreed on the regular lotion. I'm about 2/3rd's of the way through a bottle, and only use it on my lighter weight lambskins or like smooth leathers. It works great, and doesn't physically weigh down the leather. Thanks for the update, Kyle! Regards. Michaelson
