Custom made shirt?

Post by JAN »

I am planning to get a new Indy-shirt, but among all these fine
vendors is there some of them that provide a custom-made one.

I need a slim fit (like Harrison, just slimmer :-) ) and slightly longer
sleeves.

But who should I turn to in order to get that?

Best regards

Look no further than Magnoli Clothiers http://www.magnoliclothiers.com./

His shirt is completely tailored to your measurements. I just ordered one myself. :junior: -IJ

Hey Jan, I know you're asking about custom and I agree Magnoli is the vendor for that, but I'd just like to point out that the fit you discribe can be had from a Noel Howard shirt too. I ordered his Large/Long and it's slim fitting with perfect length for my longer arms and torso. I prefer the thinner poplin material over Magnolis standard cotton, though I do prefer Magnoli's price  . Oh and also his ease of contact.

Thanks!

I think custom is the way to go.

Looking at the shirt-fit on Ford, it is clearly it´s made for him.
The shirt fits him like a slightly loose T-shirt.

A regular shirt tend to be a little baggy at the waist-line - and
that is not the Indy-look (nor is the opposite :P )

Best regards

I second Magnoli for custom fit shirts. I have the Wested shirt, and recently received my Magnoli Shirt. I'll post pics someday, but the Magnoli shirt fits me great, it's color is great, I love it. I have to get my Wested Tailored to fit right, because I am also very slim, and standard shirts fit me quite baggy.

Magnoli gets my vote, for sure! I have unusual measurements, too. His shirt fits me better than any other shirt I own, and is also a high quality garment that is very comfortable.
