My gun, my holster, my shirt ;-)

Post by Marc »

Hi gang,

looki what my buddy K gave to me when I met him for 30 sec. on the station of Vejle - Denmark two days ago :D

Due to the size of the pictures, I thought I'd better link them:

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e132/ ... kseite.jpg

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e132/ ... erLauf.jpg

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e132/ ... alhahn.jpg

As you can see, I FINALLY(!!!) got a usable sample for the shirt label, so even this project seems to find an end.

Regards,

Marc

This is the gun that was used to start with Jason: http://www.modelguns-worldwide.com/dirtyharry.htm

It's a N-Frame, so it's quite a bit bigger than the K-Frame you've got, but it also means more work. MUCH more work.

See the medalions on the plastic grips of the Magnum? K removed them and made them golden, made some new grips from scratch(!!!), installed the medalions, distressed the grips and did MANY other wonderfull things in order to make this blank firing replica one big, mean, seriously real looking eyecatcher!!! Even my father who got to see it today (and who doesn't like guns at all) went "wow"! - That was just before he pulled the trigger in the living room, which made him go "WOW!!!"

Regards,

Marc

So K from Q branch?! I see! :)

See what us guys in euroland have to go through!

Looks fab, and the holster looks seriously meaty.

Just got back from the holidays, Glad you like the gun and holster Marc. The cold metal you send me was perfect for the job and it came just in time for me to get it ready for our brief encounter at Vejle train station.

Kt, you are more right that you know. Danish Bond fans are on my back for replicas  so I might end up being Q.

Happy new year,
Kim

I'm still trying to get the company to send me, I'll let you know when they give me the final answer.
I hope I get the go ahead so we can get together again.

Grips like that are available for the N-frame directly from S&W for about $56. I don't think they have similar grips for K-frames, but you can get them used from parts places.

K you did a great job, seriously. Now I want one LOL
The shirt label looks very good compliment on that too Marc.
