I asked one of our fine hat makers to craft a taller crown model. (Right now, "S.A. ists" are twisting.) The hat was very nicely done.
Yes, I "tweaked" the original block shape, just a bit. The bash is still in progress.
Quick guessing game; who made this hat?
Sincerely,

My guess would be that its a Jimmy Pierce or a Peter Bros.

The width of the brim reminds me of my Burlington Coat Factory hat. Could it be a BCF? But it looks to good to be a BCF.

Dutch is right, it's a Jimmy Pierce without a doubt. 1 5/8 inch ribbon and Jimmy's bow work are a dead giveaway. The taller crown doesn't look too out of proportion thanks to Jimmy's wider ribbon. Is is rabbit or beaver?

Agreed. It certainly looks like JP's ribbon. Nice hat.
Very tall. What’s the crown height?

That's possibly the most SA hat i've seen...maybe ever.
If this is Jimmy's, then I'm getting one.

My guess is a Camptown.

Hat maker, aside, what do you think about the general block shape?

I kinda like it. It's tall, but it's straight sided, too. So, seriously, who made the hat?

Sincerely,
It's too tall for my tastes...anything over 5 1/2 inches doesn't really work for me, but I understand a taller crown works out better for certain folks. The height aside, I'd have to say I prefer the overall shape a bit better than the blockshape on my JPD, which didn't yield very good "Raiders" results for me. My JPD had straight enough sides, but it was a bit heavy on the front & back taper. This hat appears not to have that problem, though.
Seuss, is that hat of yours turned? Or are you going for more of the "Outside the Chachapoyan Temple" look? The side shot of your hat really nails that look with the shallow front dents.

It does have a certain "Outside the Temple," look; doesn't it. One of my favorite scenes. Perhaps the bash was something subliminal.
Tall is the order of the day. Open crowned, at approximately 6 and 1/4 inches. Creased down to approximately 5 1/8. "That," is one hefty center dent.
The shape is from a modified Fedora/Lamode block. I toyed with the block for quite a while to get this look.
The hat, itself, looks and feels very well made. Soft/but substantial, it is rapidly becoming my favorite in terms of overall "fit." It appears the craftsman/maker was obvious.
Sincerely,
