I shall leave the detailed reviews to those more learned. I will just say that I love the changes made since I bought my new lambskin a few years ago. I now have gussets!!! I always wanted them.
The color is identical to my aged goatskin A-2, and I really like it. This new lambskin feels different from my other lambskin. Very nice texture. The action pleats stay closed. This is the best yet. It still seems surreal to me that we can own the same sort of jacket that Ford wore in the films, and made by the same man. Pinch me. A toast to Mr. Botwright and his dedication to us fans. Cheers. Is it thicker? I've heard horror stories of older-style lambskin jackets tearing easily. If this is thicker, I'm buying.

I'm almost tempted to get a lamb after I get my goat.

This is truly an illness. I am completely and totally satisfied with my FS Expo in dark brown lambskin. This to me is THE JACKET. So why then have I almost ordered a new Wested in the authentic brown lambskin?
Part of it is probably Wested envy. I sold my original Wested goatskin prior to buying the Expo. Part of it is that with all the new mods (tighter fitting, smaller collar, pocket placement, on and on and on) the Wested now looks almost exactly like the Expo. And it's a Wested.
Looks like I'm going to have to raise my wife's eyebrows yet again. And when she asks me this time, "How many of these things do you need?" I'm afraid I won't have a very good answer.
Never mind the fact I'm trying to talk her into a $750 Real McCoys A2 in horsehide.
Sigh, I hate this site.

Hey at least you have a job to pay for it - anything I buy just pushes me further and further into debt! Having said that it beats spending all your money on drinking like other students!
