HH observations and stuff

Post by Jack Flanders »

About 4 years ago I said I would never buy the leather, so I opted for the cotton raiders jacket. Soon after that I found that I simply had to have the leather version so I decided on the 44R goat. Someone mentioned that it had a rubbery feel to it and I have to agree. Not long after that I rediscovered my exercise hobby and found that the 44 was too small (I was on the cusp between 44 and 46 anyway- thank the gods for ebay or I would have never recouped a sizable portion of my investment). On 12/5 I bought a standard 46L LC HH and it arrived on 12/17- they must have pulled it right off the rack because that was FAST. I find the HH nice and heavy, not rubbery, with a smooth texture. I like the color as well, dark brown. Plus, you can’t beat the smell of new leather.

I talked to Gemma about getting an off the rack HH Indy jacket ( i own a lamb skin already) and she said they don't have any that they are all custom made. Maybe because you ordered a standard size is why it was so quick.
