I've got my AB on order finally and I'm thinking of getting a gray Federation to go with it.

Does anyone have pictures of a Carbon Gray Federation? There is one on the hatsdirect website, but I was hoping someone actually owns one. How does the color compare to the gray hats in Raiders?

Actually, in person the carbon gray is rich, very clearly gray, and has a bluish undertone. It is very clearly not brown at all in real life. I don't have my pictures any more, which is a shame because they looked very accurate to the real color. Bob's pics above look pretty close to me, though. It's a beautiful hat, very classy looking.

I too just ordered a Grey Federation to help get me through the AB wait . Here's some pictures I found on The Fedora Lounge. Someone posted these really good ones. I hope it helps you make your decision. I know it helped me
