Some new whips

Post by purewhips »

Here are 5 new whips I have made in the past few weeks.
Left to Right
Little Zorro 2ft 16 plait Roo hide
Little Indy 2ft 8 plait Cowhide
Snake whip 5ft 6in 12 plait Cowhide
Wooden handle 8ft 6in 12 plait Cowhide

The second picture is an 8plait 2ft Indy pocket whip. Cowhide.

With these smaller whips I was doing some really fast cracks. Yeah I cracked these indoors. Loud little whips, I know cause my wife got very upset about her ears ringing. Lol

Gus,
One of those Indy pocket whips is on my birthday wish list, so you should hopefully be getting an order from her soon. [-o< Your other whips look really nice.

I just received my Pocket Indy today (the second photo in the first post). I can eke a sidearm crack out of it for now. Not too shabby volume, either! While Indy's sounds like a cannon, this is like a starter pistol.

Don't get me wrong, I love this whip!! Figured it's a good place to start with my first "real" whip purchase. Start small, work my way up. I will be practicing with this more, and photos will be coming.

Great work, Gus!
