Club Obi Wan

Thought I'd share some pics of my new (old) hat. I got it from a fellow COW member. It'll hold me until my AB's arrive sometime next year (hopefully by the movie).

It's a little big so I need some suggestions on snugging it up a little. I'm also not sure if I need a taller crown with my next hats, as my head dents the top crease a little, and I'm not sure if this is normal.

What I have always done and what was done in the old days is this. Get some felt, cut down to hide behind the sweatband. It's the kind of felt you can find at Wal-Mart in the craft section. You place the strips in the front and back behind the sweatband. You may only need one in the back or one in the front. Try it out and get it comfortable for you.

That should hold you over well – you might want to bring the brim up in the back, and from the profile the front of the crown looks lower than the back, but then again it could just be the camera angle.
The AB will definitely be a taller hat – I was shocked when I first received mine as to how tall it was, but when I went back and watch Raiders again I realized it was spot on…
