Hello all. My name if Jim and I live in N. Tex. First I'd like to say that this forum has taught me more about whips than all the other research I've done on the web. I started at the end of the forum and read forward, amazing amount of knowledge here.
With that said, I wanted to show off my newest whip. (It's not an Indy, so I hope that's ok). This was an Ebay find. I took a chance and bought it not knowing anything about the maker. The only info I could find on Mike Brower was on this forum. Well, I was VERY pleased with what I got. It is a beautifully well made whip. Very tightly plaited, but after a week of daily cracking it is just now starting to break in. This was my first real whip. By that I mean one that didn't have a rope core. And by the way, I'm currently standing in line for one of Bernie's whips.

Good looking whip. I noticed the gun belt. Gun spinner?

Hi Jim, Welcome to Indy Gear and Club Obi-Wan’s Bullwhip forum. Thanks for the kind words about our site, We are very fortunate to have some really great folks posting in here and sharing their knowledge. I am glad you’ve found the information helpful.

Congratulations on the new bullwhip, It’s a great looking whip! Mike Brown is one of those whip makers that unfortunately slips though the cracks sometimes, he does nice work but he is not that well known online yet. Good find.

All the best.

Dan

Circus and overhead cracks are very easy. I have more trouble with sidearm though, but i think that is because the whip is still very stiff (or my form is stiff. :)
