US Wings sizing question?

Hey fellas, had my eye on the us wings distressed cowhide but would like some specs on sizing. I think I would need a large? I just received my wested distressed cowhide in a off the rack size 42 and it was too short in the sleeves 
. But I still have my custom ROTLA wested which fits like a glove and the tag says 42, but then again I told Peter exact sleeve length I would need. Anyhoo, any help with us wings size large specs would be mighty appreciated!
