Just out of curiousity, does anyone here have first hand experience owning a NH holster? And if so, does it stand up to real-life use? Is it more of a costume-piece that would eventually fall apart if you store a real sidearm in it, or is it the real deal?

It is "reasonably sturdy".

I have one of these and I bought it direct from Noel when I was in London. He told me it was made by a leather craftsman who made all of his stuff. Definitely not a toy or prop piece. I do not have a real gun in it but it looks like it would hold up no problem. I am a big fan of British leather goods and find their workmanship to be of superior quality.

I have owned the NH Raiders holster back in the day, and it was definitely the real deal, a top-of-the-line full-grain gun holster with tight stitching and solid brasswork. Definitely not a 'prop' piece. I can advise the same for Lee Keppler's work. I bought one of his very first Webley holsters, and like the gun itself, the thing is built like a tank, solid 1/4-inch thick cowhide, beautifully-finished, squeaky tight construction, and the MK-VI fits it like a glove.

the NH holster is the one i have and most definatly stands up to any and every day wear that would be put on it. I was impressed with how heavy duty it felt. If you want it to last then i dont think you will be disappointed with the NH holster.
