I just got my gloves, and todd's bag strap today. question though.. how do you open the screw to install it on a bag? or am I just missing something here?

fix yourself a nice tall glass of vodka and orange juice over ice and think about the problem

You should just have to unscrew it. My Todd's bagstrap has a regular leather type screw thing in it that just unscrews.

well, I know the unscrewing part.. but when I turn the screw, the back spins with it also, hence nothing happening. I guess my question was more along the lines of.. what kind of wrench do I need to stick in the hole in the back to keep it from spinning so I can unscrew it?

It's a matter of friction, really. If you have a piece of rubber or something you can use to stabilize the back while you unscrew from the front, that should do it, though it may take some working at it, depending how tight the screw is held together. Here's a little trick when you have everything in place correctly. Before screwing it back together, if you put a drop or two of clear fingernail polish inside the threads, it will prevent ot from wiggling lose during normal wear.

try a piece of rubber for gripping one side while you unscrew the other side with a screwdriver. typically, i just wrapped a thick rubber band around my finger and pressed it against the back to keep the female end from moving while i loosened the other side....there should be enough friction to do the job...hope that helps

You can always try a left handed marshmallow stick.
G, I'm almost always slow on the draw, so you must be REALLY slow today!

If I remember correctly, when I got mine I just used a screwdriver and held the back against my finger. Maybe I'm just crazy though
