Three Bullwhips

Post by louiefoxx »

Here are the last three bullwhips that I've made. The pictures are from the oldest to the most recent:

All the whips are 6 foot 12 plait kangaroo whips.

I showed the first two to David Morgan. The first one he said was too light, the second was "not bad" (my best comment from him!).

The picture below is most recent whip...I did change the fall to one that is slightly heavier after I took the picture.

Hey Louie, lookin' good! They seem to be tapering pretty well, and from vids I've seen sound like they crack pretty well, too. Just curious, but on the whip that Mr. Morgan said was too light, did he make any suggestions as to correcting that in a future whip of the same size? I get the feeling, though, from things I've read from others, that Mr. Morgan tends to like a heavier whip. Keep up the good work!

Steve.
