Well, I'm a big supporter of the Joe Strain whip: http://westernstageprops.com/Cart11.Asp which is a very well made whip. He trained under David Morgan and is a very good whip maker. Only difference in Joe's whip and the DM whip is the size of the 'Monkey's Fist' at the end of the handle. Joe's is slightly smaller in respect for David Morgan. So you may want to take a look.

The whip at US Wings looks good, 12 plait's standered, although it's slightly more expensive than Joe's whip, it comes with a free video to get you started with cracking it. In any case, it looks like a great whip, you shouldn't be dissapointed with it. :)

I had a 6 footer from USW. Good quality whip..cracked well...a bit light perhaps. The other problem I had with it was that the "tan" color pictured on the site at the time looked nothing like the color I got. I got a reddish dark brown whip. When I called them about it, they basically told me "Tough titty".
Good whip...just not exactly as advertised...at least that was my experience.
It handled well and I was only disappointed in the color and perhaps that the whip was a bit on the light side (heft-wise).

I'd go with the Joe Strain though. Reasonably priced, high quality, very close to Raiders accurate.
