Who has a good source of hat ribbons in various colors? I'm just flat out comin' up empty.
And if anyone says "your local fabric/craft store", I'm gonna scream! The only ribbon I can find anywhere is the silly shiny stuff that women use to decorate with.
I've got a hankerin' for a Bushman, but I want to put a wide ribbon on it, which I can't do if I can't find any ribbon!
I used Todd's ribbon on my DP - because I had a sample of it and it wasn't long enough to use on my Akubra. It came out pretty nice - I actually think it's darker than the ribbon on my AB! It's a nice looking ribbon, and it's not very expensive from Todd's.
The HJ ribbon is a source Steve and Marc keep close to the vest. Ask as you might, they won't tell you where they get it. However, and I can't say for them, they may be willing to send some ribbon your way if you ask nicely.

Yeah, I think you can actually buy some ribbon from them,...it's a little expensive, but it comes wrapped around a really great hat!!

Can you still buy ribbon from adventurebuit? Any recommendations on a hatter that can put on a new ribbon and reblock a hat? I would like to replace the grosgrain on my HJ and Stetson Temple. Also looking for a reblock on the Stetson. Any information would be appreciated.
Just recieved a package with one roll of 1" and 1 3/4" Raiders ribbon each five minutes ago These were custom made by the same supplier who provides us with the original Raiders ribbon. So we have three widths available now.
Hat's direct also orders occasional runs of the Bushman without the eyelets and with the wider ribbon. They are not listed on the website, but if you email them they will tell you more. They'll even send pics. It is a special order item.
