LOL! There are many ways to double stitch. One is a double-top stitch and the other is using a hidden stitch and a single top stitch. You are confusing the double top stitch with a double stitch using a single top stitch...
That is true, but I think its Platons point to say that on Wested's website
it states you will get the double row stitch, as that is the one that they
show, and mention specifically, not the hiden double stitch you mention.
From the screen grabs, its obvious that the stitching shown on the screen,
is different than what is shown, and is available, from the website.
As you mention, you think the double row stitch is ugly, and you do not
prefer it. But that is what is shown, so how, if a person wants to buy
a LC jacket, do you know which type of stitching you are going to get, if
the website says its one thing, but you get something else?
As to that first screen grab? I've never seen an Indy jacket with a double top stitch that I can recall. IMHO - it is an "ungly" stitch and I prefer the double-stitch with the single top stitch. Is that an Indy jacket from Peter's site???
Yes, the first picture is right from Wested's own website, where they
tell you what type of stitching was on the LC jackets, which, as the
screen grabs show, was not quite the case in this example.
Just for your information, if you right click on any picture on the
internet, and go to the bottom of the pop-up menu, and hit "properties"
you will get a window with all the information about the picture, such
as its name and where its hosted from. This also applies to any other
part of a website, such as the backround, headers, sidebars, ext.
The first picture does indeed comes right from the Wested website.
