Just in case some of you are planning to work with the wonderful staff at this particular store in the near future.

I go to DC about three or four times a year. I always go to the Alden store. The nice thing about K street is the proximity of metro stops. Do you know if there is a metro stop near the new location? Also, when will the new store open?

feathers, all I know about their opening is what was on the postcard, and the above is the complete text they sent. You can e-mail or call and they could tell you directly. As far as the Metro goes, K Street is in the same neck of the woods, so my guess is you should be able to use the same stops as before. I haven't scouted out the physical address yet to see which stop is closest...

An update from Kathleen:

Our new store will be right off the Gallery Place (9th St) metro stop, however I don't know if we will be open by then. Everything has been delayed and we are looking at a couple of months at least.
