Just placed my order with Todd's for a few odds and ends including the essentials for a gunbelt.
Raider style holster, whip holster, and belt.
I also ordered a couple web trouser belts and Todd's adventure shirt.
Really looking forward to this orders arrival.

nice work ij,
did you order the deluxe belt or the budget belt? the budget belt is strictly for costuming as the leather is too soft for anything practical. the bonus of this is you can take the hardware and install it on a better leather belt. the deluxe gun belt is a great belt....it's quite dry as todd used tooling leather so a coat of pecards should be applied once you get it.
the budget holster is a very practical piece of gear if that is what you went with. it will hold anything but a real metal gun well as the rivets inside will scratch the finish of a real gun. its a great price for what you get for sure. i don't have the deluxe gun holster so i can't comment.
the whip holder is also good as it is adjustable via velcro. todd uses special snaps on these so that you have to lift up the strap before you pop it off. this was revised in the past as his straps kept popping out unexpectedly. now the velcro can cinch the whip up pretty tight, but there will still be some slippage if you are knocking the whip all around the place if you are running or jumping or what not. for real life adventuring with a whip, i'd recommend a non-slip whip holder.
as for the wpg shirt....mom always said that if i don't have anything nice to say, to not say anything at all.
cheers,
G

Thanks for all the input Indiana G, I really appreciate it.
I pretty much went with Deluxe on everything leather...not that I'm rich or anything but I figured, why buy something cheap and have to replace it later when you can start out with some nice things?
Since my last post, I also received good news and bad news from Todd's. The good news is that my order is ready to go and will be here next Thursday. The bad is that they are out of deluxe raiders holsters and they will be on back order for a few weeks. Oh well.
As for the "Adventure Shirt"...I can appreciate your sentiments and your dignity in expressing them. I actually do intend to place a decent order in the future with either (or both ) Wested and Magnoli, at which time I plan on getting a better shirt and pants. The WPG shirt was just something I thought I'd add figuring it would hold me over until I get something better. (yes, I know I'm eating my own words about getting something nice to start with but, it was already a large order so, what the heck?)
Regardless, I'm really looking forward to the arrival of this order....
I'm a little disappointed by the holster being backordered but, no big deal...it'll come in due time.
