At some point, I will be ordering an Indy shirt and pants. It seems that right now I have two options:
A) Magnoli Clothiers
B) Wested
Are there any other vendors that offer a screen accurate shirt or pants?

Well there's the WPG shirt, which Todd also resells.

Well yes there is also Noel Howard who has the MOST screenacurate shirts and pants you can get !
Although he charges alot for them. But they're as close to the real thing you can get.
You can contact Noel by mail I think its on the main page

Oh, that would be great. For some reason I was under the impression that the Noel Howard pants and shirts were no longer available.
Does NH make these items to order or are they in-stock and ready to ship?

Thanks, guys. I really appreciate all the help.
A little more browsing last evening brought me to What Price Glory and the discovery that they too also offer an Indy shirt.
How do they measure up to NH and Wested's?

Being the proud owner of all three
) I'd say there is world of difference. WPG is, and also has the reputation of being, a whole lot bigger than the others. Some even describe it as being a "tent" compared to the others, even when the size is otherwise right. The NH and Wested in comparison are very well fiting, that is at least for my size, but it's normally a good way to compare standard sizes.
I like the Wested a lot, but the NH is the "real thing" and the feel and color of NH is perfect. Some argue that it's not as durable as it looks on film, but its my absolute favourite shirt when wearing it. I also think the NH is the only shirt available that looks the right color in every sort of light. Magnoli offers too many choices for my taste since I only want SA-color, but take a look at his shirts too.
Just remember that Marc from AB is working on a shirt at the moment, and from his postings we get the impression that he's making a NH quality shirt at Wested prices. Many of us have allready ordered alone from Marc's reputation, so I beleive and hope that his shirt is worth waiting for.
Cheers

I have all of them also, and there is a world of difference between them. I find the Wested and WPG shirts heavier and much larger in the fit. I think the pockets are also too big on them. But each are rugged enough for the outdoors.
Noel's shirt is great but I find the color does not match the Raiders shirt, more like the TOD and LC. I find that the stone color shirt from Magnoli Clothiers is the most accurate Raiders shirt in look and color.
For the pants, Wested has the best Raiders color, and Noel has the best TOD and LC color.
Just my two cents.

I have the Wested Pants and Shirt. I love the pants, and the shirt is ok. I am slender framed, and the shirt (size medium) is the perfect length, but a little wide bodied for me. I also feel the fabric feels thinner and more delicate than any other outdoor shirt I've had, more like a thin dress shirt. It looks great, though. I just submitted an order yesterday morning for a Magnoli shirt, so hopefully in a few weeks I can give you a comparison.

I don't have pics to prove it, but comparing the genuine presumably-screen-used pants and shirt (my recollection is the label said "RAIDERS")against my NH set they are pretty durned close. I think in truth there was some variation of colors across the clothes they used for each film.

Just out of curiousity, just HOW accurate ARE Noel Howard's gear? I realize that there are threads on this topic, but most of them are either too old to be of use, or the comparison pictures have long been erased.
What I'm especially curious about are the shoulder epaulets for the LC shirt... do they match the on-screen epaulets, especially since that is the main difference (to me) between the Raiders and the LC shirt? Or are they just a Raiders shirt with dark buttons?

Sorry, I can understand broken picture links, but how can the other threads be "too old to be of use?" It's largely because of earlier threads and research that have led us this far down the path. Granted, some things are clarified, updated, or newly discovered as time goes by, but I never think of the archives as being of no use. The search feature is a good thing, in my book.
As to the color of the trousers and shirts, there are slight differences between the films as far as I have come to know. Keep in mind that it could be due to different materials used, and the fabric dye lots from which the costume pieces were made.

I've seen Wested pants side by side with NH pants in person. I see and feel no difference at all. Except on the price tag. So I'd say if you want the hyper-accuracy of NH pants, buy the Wested. Same dang thing. If you're not worried about getting exactly the right color and texture, get custom pants from Magnoli. They will spoil you! Plus, he has different fabrics and prices.
As for shirts, I have to agree that nothing beats the look and feel of a NH. I want one... just one. Other than NH, the best shirt (in my opinion) and the best deal all around (including NH), is Magnoli. Yes, the fabric is wrong and the color isn't perfect. But it is an awesome shirt, made to order, by a capital company, run by a perfect gentleman!
So, if you don't get my drift yet - I love Magnoli's stuff (and his service, too). Since wearing his stuff, nothing else I own seems to measure up anymore. [sigh]

I have thought abot the NH shirt - I have a Wested and a WPG. The WPG is the lowest on the scale of comfort and accuracy for me. The sleeves are too short and the body is too wide. I love the Wested , and the pants are great. THough, I am thinking of getting an Indy Magnoli pair soon.

By "too old to be of use", I refer to the fact that the threads are for the old MBA shirts, which are outdated as NH has since updated the design. Just like how a review for a Wested four years ago would be irrelevant for someone thinking of buying a new Wested today.

I know that the shirts in the films had differences, but I'm curious as to whether those differences are reflected in what is currently offered by NH

The pants - honestly words cannot describe how "original" the NH pants look and feel. I am still kicking myself for not taking a picture while I had laid my NH clothes on top of the Raiders clothes.
I haven't looked at the Wested pants closely, but the Wested shirt had a more robust feel but it even though maybe not as 'accurate".
While the NH shirt looks and feels fantastic it does have a "screen costume" quality to it; I do enjoy my wearing my LL Bean shirt more and I'm thinking about a Magnoli shirt too, and keeping the NH shirt for "special occasions".
