I was walking along a street in Bedford (england) last week and spotted someone wearing a Wested!!! No doubt about it - don't know who it was though or whether they're a member here. I was with some mates at the time and didn't fancy rushing up to a stranger to ask about his jacket! Whoever it was didn't have a hat though.

happened to me too couple of years back when I was in London. I saw someone with a wested raiders jacket but because I was preoccupied with someone else in my company and also because I don't wanna bother people I just walked passed him, took a look back to see if i was seeing a wested yes or not and just continued my way.

i am still waitin to spot another one, not for lack of looking though. I definatly keep an eye out for fellow Indy fans and my hat is slowly becoming a part of my daily wardrobe. There have to be some good stories out there though...i would really like to hear a few. I wonder if any of you have run into a fellow COW member???

This does make me wonder though... How can people be sure that it's a Wested, and not a Flightsuits, Magnoli, Todd's, or perhaps just a generic jacket that just happens to look alot like an Indy jacket?

Because the guy was wearing it inside out and you read the label.

this happened to me last week...I was in Hammondsport, NY and I saw a few guys walking around with Wested jackets. A few fedoras, too!

Can't happen to me as I am the only fan in my country.

I went to visit my parents and my mother was having guests over. She told my wife and I that her friend's son was coming over too and he was our age and I should entertain him, etc. He shows up. My wife growns. The guy is wearing the bag and he's got the strap. The thing was beautifully aged too. We got along quite well.

About a year ago, I spotted an Indy jacket on the street near my home... I told my buddy about it (who is also an Indy fan - but not a COW yet). My friend told me that he knew who that guy was - he had just met him recently, and they were actually getting to know each other... Now, today, I know him too... Like you all do in here... His name is "K on the run"!
