What's stopping you, Joel? I'm sure some of the whipmakers around here would be happy to give you tips and feedback. Besides, you have to start somewhere, eh? :wink:

Exactly, the first thing you need to know how to do is braiding, there is alot of good books out there that are very helpful and ask questions, there is alot of very helpful whipmakers, whip artists and enthusiasts out there that can answer any of your questions.

JoelM, While it can be intimidated, Like Bink said every whip maker starts somewhere. There is a great deal of information on whip making on both this site and on others, plus books and videos are avalible and many whip makers will take the time to work with you one on one if your in the same area as well. Several sell do it yourself kits to get you started. So if you’re interested in whip making, give it a go.

Where's the wrist loop? I thought that was one of the main details of the Indy style. Otherwise great job. :tup:
