advanced jacket measurements

I remember a while back (like 2-3 years ago) there was a more extensive order form available for the wested that got down some of the more advanced details than just sleeve, chest and size. Does anybody know what happened to that, because I'm looking into a new jacket and I can't remember what measurements my last one had. Or for that matter, does anyone know if Peter keeps the measurements people give him in case they order another? :junior: -IJ

I believe those were "exact specifications" that Agent5 came up with. I'll do a quick search and see what I can come up with.
EDIT::
I searched and came up empty handed. Maybe a more able VP can dig it up for you. Something makes me want to think it was deleted after an argument with Wested over people asking for too many changes.
Anyone offer some more assistance?

Or maybe a more able Castor should be able to find it

I found it on the net about a year ago but I can't remember exactly what site I got it from.
It worked great and the jacket was a perfect fit when I got it. I hope it will help someone else.
JACKET SIZING:
A) CHEST - Measure high under armpits, spanning the widest part of your chest, bring tape around for one 360 degree complete measure.
B) BACK LENGTH - Measure from nape of neck (at collar seam) to 1 1/4" below BOTTOM of belt line. This is where a waist-length jacket should fall. If you desire a longer length, please mention how much longer and we can see which of our sizes would be close.
C) SHOULDER SPAN - Measure across back in a straight line, from edge of shoulder to opposite edge of shoulder.
D) ARM - Measure from top edge of shoulder to top thumb knuckle.
E) SLEEVE - Measure from nape of neck to shoulder edge, then down arm to bottom of wrist bone.
F) WAIST - Measure 1 1/2" below your navel for a complete 360 degree measurement.
G) HEIGHT - Total height in feet and inches.

If that is it, then I was looking for something else that was posted. I was looking for specifics on what makes a perfect SA jacket.

When Peter stitched up my HH, he asked for additional information. Using the Wested website "standard measurements," and this supplement, he crafted a "spot on" jacket. It fits better than any custom sport or top coat I have ever purchased (and, I have several).
My information as an example:
Back width: 22 inches (from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, measured from approximately 3 inches below the collar/back seam). Back length: 29 inches (measured from neck/collar seam to bottom of hem). Neck/collar seam to sleeve head: 7 3/8 inches. Sleeve length is about 31 1/2-3/4, measured from sleeve head to slightly above the first thumb knuckle. (Yes, I have very long arms). Waist: 38 inches. Weight 218 lbs.
Sincerely,

I think the only way you're gonna get a Perfect screen accurate jacket is to have the exact same body proportions as Harrison Ford.

If that is what you are looking for, there are several in the forum, who are SA aficionados. I believe a search will provide much of that information.

Yes, yes. But a few years ago, before you both were members, Agent5 (I believe) compiled a list of modifications and whatnot that would make a perfect SA jacket. It was a sticky for a while, but has since vanished. It may have been lost in one of the site crashes.

I have never seen a more specific order form at the Wested site, you're confusing it with something else.

I think there's a misunderstanding here...
Indiana is clearly talking about the Agent5 Specs (which was requested to be deleted).
IndianaJones 'seems' to be talking about just getting a list of specific measurements needed for a better fitting (not necessarily S.A.) jacket, as opposed to the 'standard' measurements listed on Wested's site. At least that's what I understood when reading the original poster's post, and it was to that request that I responded earlier.

Now the only way to resolve this matter is if IndianaJones settles it.

hmm...I think I was remembering the Agent 5 specs, but I'd go for anything that gives a better fit. :junior: -IJ

Page 3 of this thread. Remember that this is sized up for a 42 Regular for a guy my size (5'10") as far as pocket size, etc. And please don't just copy this list to send to Peter because alot of what's on here is standard. You just have to ask.
