Czech close enough bag

I recently found this bag while browsing around:
And this is what it looks like on the inside:
Best part is they have them at $4.90 over
HERE.
Affordable, and with some minor modifications it would be a nice close enough I think.

How is the strap attached to the bag, Swin?

I couldn't find a good enough pic of the sides of it, unfortunately.
My guess is that it's sewn directly onto the bag though.
If you want rings attached to it I think it would be easy enough to cut the strap above the attachment, loop the created flap back under and then sew it shut with the ring attached, the way it is on a MkVII bag.
(I think I remember someone fixing their Indy bag this way when the strap attachment was busted, using some material from an original webbing strap.)

NICE FIND! And it measures the same size as my MkVII. The only thing is that I don't see any rings to attach the straps to, but it should be easy enough to modify it as such. ANd the price can't be beat!

Bink:
Indeed! And with some snaps on it, there you go!
Hah!
Found a shot of it:
Michaelson:
Sewn on.

Yep, they did.
I actually used the divider I'd removed, but after the fact realized the web strap would have been a more accurate fix! Rats...
Nice find, Swindy...can't have enough close-enoughs for when folks just want something without having to bid an arm and a leg on an original!

I did the exact same thing when my ring attachment broke. The webbing has a tendency to fray against the metal ring, especially if the weld (or solder) closing the ring is raised significantly like it is on mine. I just cut out the tiny useless pocket and fashioned it into an approximately shaped piece. I actually think the canvas is stronger than the webbing, even though it doesn't look quite as good.

They seem to be wholesale only.
I'd contact them to see if they can provide any info on what retailers of this particular bag there might be.
EDIT:

Some seem to turn up on eBay aswell.

GOOD POINT. Even though I patched it with the other fabric in error, it IS much stronger now.

I like the center pocket that looks like it has a snap closure. An ideal spot to cashe a small czech.
