If you do a search you can find a whole bunch of threads on them.

HSJ,
Framesdirect.com is the least expensive option that I know of. If you find a better deal, please let me know. Thanks.

Mike,
What's Algpha Group? Are the specs cheaper from them than $200?

Oops. Just saw that I mis-typed thier name. It's actually Algha Group. They're the actual makers of the specs, and Henry Sr.'s and are a member here, though they've never posted. It might be good to send them a PM with your interest and point them to this thread. It might get them to respond and keep them safe from our next 0 poster clean out.

Their website is: http://www.algha.com

About glasses...
I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of glasses Harisson Ford is wearing on this picture of the movie set (not sure if its a prop or his own glasses) :

To get the correct glasses, go to berkshirechase.com. Under Seville Row, you will find the Beaufort Panto frames. I do not know what the retail price is. I have a relative who gets them for me at cost, $156 including shipping. Knowing the mark up on frames, I can only guess that they are at least $300.

That would figure. When I finally find a pair of glasses that are close to the original Indy glasses:

they go and change them. ](*,) These are some Polo frames that I came across on eBay. I think they are nearly identical to the Berkshire Chase frames.

Incidentally, if anyone is looking for some specs, I've got these for sale in the Cairo Bazaar:

Frames Direct

I just wanted to give all some heads up on a problem I encountered with Frames Direct. My current pair of Bershire Chase frames are 4 years old and the cable on one side of the frames has broken. Not uncommon as I use these glasses for everyday wear. I attempted to try to replace the temples only but all the opticians stated that they could not get them. Probably more of an issue of they can't make that much money by selling just the temples.

Yesterday I called Frames Direct to order new frames. The customer service representative stated that the Bershire Chase Beauford2 in Chestnut frame and temple was discontinued by the manufacturer. I immediatly phoned Berkshire Chase direct and spoke with Doris who indicated that this model is not discontinued and has been made since 1934 and will continue to be made. They will be following up with Frames Direct to work out the problem.

While on the phone with Doris, she indicated that they can replace the temples only if anyone runs into the same problem I did. She quoted me $100 pluse shipping and insurance of $13.80 (US). She also is going to sell me a new pair of Bershire Chase Beaufort 2's directly from them - which they do not normally do.

Anyway. I just wanted to give everyone some information in case any of you were having difficulty in getting the Indy Glases. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Mike
