I swindled Indiana G out of one of his many, many jackets for a COW Challenge Coin and dinner and it occured to me, I know nothing about the jacket.
It also occured to me that I didn't even get pix taken of it yet, so here's some.
I still owe ya dinner, Gil!

That jacket should fit me, then, right?
Lookin' good, Sankewhip! I'll be back with the cherry picker to get you down sometime after dinner.

Thanks, bink. That was a lot of help.
Same question, Snake, but a few more details, like 'brand', if you please.

Couldn't help it, Michaelson.
My guess is it's NOT a US Wings, judging by where the back panel meets the yoke.

Read that first line I posted again. That it's a Wested is all I really know about it. It had a laminated certificate of authenticity signed by Mr. Botwright.

It's a good looking jacket, the little bit of distressing looks good on it.
Indiana G if you are taking offers I've got a Sacagawea dollar and I'm sure I can find a Mcdonalds to go eat at.

Missed it in the subject line.
Sorry to have bothered you with the question.

Michaelson, we're BOTH so busy reading, we forgot to see the title of the book!
Snakewhip, do you remember what my Wested goat felt like when you tried it on at the QM? Is this lighter or more similar? (I realize the QM was a LONG time ago now!)

No problem, Michaelson!
It's a similar feel, I think, Bink. Buttery soft. Maybe margariny.

Looks like a kick @$$ Last Crusade styled jacket to me. At least that's what the distressing looks to be.
Hey, that rhymed. Bink, I just gave you some fuel.

agent5. That's your rapper name, right?
It looks lighter than my goatskin based off the pics. I wonder if it's lamb?

great action pics jeff!!! that jacket definitely looks better on you my friend. i'm glad she found a nice home as it was my first wested and theres some good memories in her.
it's an authentic brown lambskin that went through an alcohol rub down and some sandpapering. turned out very lc-ish
it's a 42 short i believe with 23.5" sleeves if i recall correctly. brass zip and d-rings with leather facings around the zipper.
i recalled a conversation with snakewhip that he was in the market for a new jacket as his old one (a-2 jacket) has got one too many bulletholes (not joking about that one
). i wasn't wearing this one anymore and i would have wanted an indy fan to have it.....especially one who was a great down to earth....er...i mean....a scoundrel of epic proportions

perhaps when wested replies to my latest jacket expedition (can i use wested and expedition in the same sentence without _ breaking through the wall to ring my neck?....jk _), i may just have another spare in the closet
cheers,
g

Well done, G. It's the generosity of some gearheads which helps keep COW such a wonderful community.
