Problems with Wested order

all,

hope it's not against the forum rules, but I just don't know what to do any more, and I hope that someone at Wested reads this as well:

Circa a month ago I placed an order for a horsehide Raiders jacket, the pants and a shirt. The package arrived on June 12th, but the pants and the shirt were missing. Since this happened before (shirt was missing in a previous order, back then, it arrived 2 or 3 days after complaining (I'm living in Germany)). I wrote them an email asking when the pants&shirt will be shipped. No answer. I wrote another email.. and another one... etc. Never got an answer. I even wrote a PM to the "PETER" user in this forum, but also no reply.

What can I do now? If I only knew that there's a delay in delivery - no problem, it's worth the wait, but what if they just forgot to ship my stuff..?

Regards
TFG

Just call them. I'm sure Gemma will clear this problem.
I know they do not reply to emails very often. I wouldn't take this personal ;)

Much regards

This is kind of odd...I'll confer w/ the mods/admin, and see if they can get a word to Peter on your behalf to sort out what's what. Until that time I'm going to ask folks only contribute helpful information to this so as not to clutter this w/ other posts about customer service...first let's help out TheFedoraGuy before this goes long in another direction, okay?

TheFedoraGuy, have you tried calling them since the problems started? Sounds like since the problems started you have sent emails and PMs...if they are some sort of computer issues that might contribute to the delays, a phone call would get right past that, and usually resolved customer issues in the past.

P.S. orb, GOOD INPUT, thank you, that's what we need. ;)

Perhaps try emailing them from a different email address? I believe several people have had problems contacting them in the past due to issues with their spam filters...

Thanks a lot, folks! I wrote an email using a different (business) email account. Don't think they ignore me on purpose since I had really good experience with them (up to now).

Sometimes when they don't have stock they just put it on back order. They should tell you though!

Try using Peter@wested.com

The shirt and pants were out of stock in that size and are in work now.
There was a message with the jacket stating that they were out of stock and would follow on and also an email to say the same.
They should be ready by the end of the week.
Cheers
Peter

Also for all to note, we are not here 24/7
Gemma works mon- friday 8am- 4pm not at the weekend or holidays.
Saturday & Sunday the factory is closed.
I was working on a film Friday and do not work Mondays so the private message left for me was not replied to as it had not been until now 5pm Moday. and I have now replied.
Cheers
Peter

Okay, turns out there was just a lost communication here. There's good info above about how to resolve this, though, so it stays, but I'm locking it as asked & answered. Thank you everyone for playing nice. ;)
