Spielberg's Modified Jacket ???

Hey everyone. Longtime visitor, first time poster.
I've been wondering for months now, or whenever it was that the BEE movie trailer with spielberg came out, about his leather jacket.
It's hard to tell cause you only see it for a real short time, but it seems sort of similar to an indy jacket, of course it's missing pockets, has those seams on the front and the adjust-straps are seamed beneath and not on top.
But it still has a feel of a more modern version of the indy jacket.
Any ideas what it might be, and where from? I've been looking for one like it since this trailer came out.
What's Spielberg doing there anyway? Not a mention of him affiliated with the Bee Movie on IMDB at all. Weird.

Really? I'm gonna rent it tomorrow and see more on that.
I really wonder where it came from. Suppose it could be a Wested?

Knowing what he can afford, it's probably an Armani.

Yeah but if you took a LC jacket, and modified it a bit, you could get essentially the same thing, wouldn't you say?
It's so hard to find a jacket that looks anything like that...

I think you're reading into it too much. Although it's similar in size and color, the jacket overall is much different in alot of ways. If Spielberg wanted to wear and Indy jacket he knows where to get them.

It's not that I'd think that he wanted to wear an indy jacket and couldn't find where to get one, as much as having something of his own, something exclusive with a touch of something he's done, kinda like his baseball caps.
I dunno, i thought it was worth a try to post this jacket here, thought maybe someone had any idea where to get one like that.
Sorry.

I guess you have a point there, since a few COW members seem to have gotten (purposely) unaccurate Wested Indy variations... A little touch of individuality goes a long way after all.
I'm sure if you really wanted to get something similar, you could always contact Wested
by phone , since the new predistressed lamb that Peter has really closely matches that look of that jacket... Though maybe just a tad lighter in color.

FYI, Bee Movie is a Dreamworks Animation production.

Thanks Castor! I know, it's good to be individual, even if you're a big fan.
Mike: Oh yeah, why didn't I think of that? Haha

I'd have never ever ever EVER thaught of diesel. I didn't even know they make leather. Weird.
And thanks, of course.

So, anyone know where one could get one of those?

It's true, Magnoli clothiers would do the job just well.
Though I must say, I've satified my cravings after thoroughly distressin the #### out of my Wested. Everything turned better once I put Pecards on the thing.
