Hello All, quick question for you. I am in the market for a new Umbrella and was curious if anyone had a suggestion. The Brigg Umbrella is great, but being a father of 3, 400 dollars is not in the budget for an umbrella.

I had one I purchased from Restoration Hardware several years ago, it was great, a standard black umbrella with a wooden handle. Cost like $50 I believe.

Any Ideas?

Only the finest umbrella known to man! Along with Fox.

I have a solid hickory one that doubles as a walking stick.

As to the question at hand, check out the local Ralph Lauren outlet. They have some passable copies of classic English umbrellas.

I actually googled "classic umbrella" and got a large number of sites with prices ranging from about $20 to 160 pounds. several of the styles fit the tightly rolled black, whangee-handled British classic. Good luck in your search!
