Thanks guys!!! I appreciate the comments!

I do, and I wanted to add a few inches in length when I placed my order over the phone, but Todd assured the lady I was talking to that the jacket would be longer than most. It's about as long as my wested Raiders. I was hoping for more of a Imam's house length, but this is my only problem with what is otherwise a really really awesome jacket.

Great looking jacket, Kaplan!
I think the length looks proportional to the sleeve length, and I think Ford's jacket was pretty much the same. I think the longer jacket length seen in Imam's house is a trick of the eye because it seems like Harry had his pants pulled up a LOT higher than usual in this scene.

I agree with Wolf,...the length looks great, and you can tell by how it fits with the gear. The jacket doesn't get in the way of getting to your whip, bag, or holster.

This is probably the only pic I can think of that shows his arm straight down to his side, and it looks like the jacket body is about 2" shorter than the sleeve. Also notice the top of the pocket flap is just about in line with the elbow bend.
But here in Imam's house his pants look really hiked up, leading to the apparent longer length of the jacket. I think it is an illusion.

Thanks. That makes sense. It's just that i've been agonizing over the length of my own wested, and that rubs off on all the other jackets i see...

Thanks _ and Dr._J!!! Yes it's cowhide, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Yeah, and I must thank you especially PLATON. Without the work you have done on the pocket scallop, these pockets may not have looked as good. That last SA wested you got really shook up the way we all look at a patch pocket these days IMHO.

To be fair, bink, if you lived where I live, rain storms are few and far between this year.

That's what I did.
It poured here last night, ruining the 4th of July festivities,....so I took a walk in the rain with my jacket. Turned out very similar to Kaplans.

I was not influenced by "Mr. Subliminal" in any way. In fact, I don't even know his name. I've never heard of "Saturday Night Live" and I never watched it in the 90's at all when Kevin Nealon was on it. I've never heard of him - I don't even know how to spell Kevin Nealon!
...Just ask my wife... uh...mmmMorgan Fairchild! Whom I'm MARRIED to...

Who said anything about 'Saturday Night Live"? All I said was SNL!
This smacks of one of those 'Murder She Wrote' plotlines, doesn't it?

Go for it Marc. You won't regret it. I think that stretching it out a bit while wearing it damp keeps it from shrinking very much.
Oh, and I couldn't wait for a rainstorm. I live in New Mexico, and Halloween would have come first.

I used to live in New Mexico great state you can see for miles (usally no rain clouds in those miles but hey it's still miles)

Are the pockets made not centered to each side of the storm flap on purpose?
I have not seen them made this way on any of the other vendors
jackets. And when someone did get them that way, they complained
about it. I can search and find no less than a hundred posts about this
topic.
Am I missing something here? Are people now requesting that the
pockets be off center? I know people actually requested to Peter
the actual dimensions of the pocket placement in order to avoid this,
and Peter and Flightsuits both make them centered around the storm
flap.
Just curious...

They are in fact set "off center" , which is screen accurate to "Raiders".
It's odd looking, but SA nonetheless. They are basically even distance from the edge of the leather on both sides.
