Raider Brim size?

Post by Dalexs »

Hey, how big was the brim on the raider hat again...?? :-k
:rolling:

Actually, I just thought I'd share my latest project hat.
I just finished sewing in the sweat (God I hate doing that...)
Tomorrow, continue on with finish work.

And before some smartarse asks... yes that is indoor outdoor carpeting on the patio. I didn't put it there! A deck will be replacing it next month!

And here, I thought you were a groundskeeper at a stadium with artificial turf.

You need a fringed western jacket with that hat. Giddy up!! :D

But, that would make a cool old west hat, and talk about sun protection!!!

It is amazing what this hat will look like once you cut the brim, add the hatband and style the hat. All hats start out as cowboy hats!! Fedora

So I promised some before and afters...

This was also my first experiment with making my own felt stiffener,
which worked out pretty good. Although I think I may thin it out a bit more.

And yeah, I know, I either need a shave or a leather jacket...

At least my guess was realistic...I thought he was posing on a miniature golf course. (Um...I have.)

Steve, help me out, which of those is before, and which after? I'm guess the bottom two are - left to right - before and after, respectively.
