Distressed gloves

Is it just my crappy screen capture or is the thumb of the right hand glove almost ripped right off?

I have always thought that the glove in that scene was very strange. I have been working on getting gloves to the Well of the Souls color, I think I may have got it just about perfect.
I got a great way for distressing the palms!!

put the gloves on(this is my personal remedy) and find a fire tower. hold the hand rails and run up and down it about 16/17 times(all the way up and down all times) about every other day for 3 weeks. carful you dont wear holes in them (done that too). trust me, you'll be holding onto those rails real tight, with aloto friction and wear. i do this in preperation for ski and snowboard trips.
