Cabelas opened a huge new store in St. Louis last week. They carry only the short sleeve Safari Shirt. Perhaps the long sleeve version will appear in the fall, but I was disappointed not to be able to buy one.

Just an FYI-The Cabelas safari shirt was my first Indy shirt, and IMO you can't go wrong for the price (I paid $25 for mine). It was my primary shirt on cross country trip from Boston to Phoenix. It's a poly/cotton which made for easy cleaning and quick drying. It is also my "Dad" shirt for days when my wife is out and my daughter & I are playing hard. So far nothing sticks, i.e. food, crayons, dirt, juice, and just about anything else a 2yr old can throw at it.....literally. :D :D

BTW Platon- I will soon be ordering my first Wested, and it will depend heavily upon your specs. Big thanks my friend!!

They still have the long sleeve through mail order. I have several of these, long and short sleeved. They are great everyday shirts and Indy shirts.

Platon; you can't go wrong.

I actually have mine on today. Looks good with jeans and Aldens. Only two things I can mention, really. One - they don't have as much 'tail' as I would like and are prone to becoming untucked through the course of a day,and 2nd - careful of the sizes. I had to send one back, cuz it was like a tent! I think I ordered a XL for comfort (ok, cuz I'm fat! Happy now??!!) and hadda send it back for the next size down.

But I agree..the poly/cotton blend does make it a tough shirt. A l'il too warm for summer, but a great shirt for the money.
