Wested Lambtouch Question

For those of you who have had experience with Wested's Lambtouch relay some info please...
Are they available in dark brown, authentic brown or other?
How is the feel and drape? Is the feel or weight like lamb or is it stiffer?
How would it compare to Todd's calf jackets?
Thanks!

Hi coronado3!
The lambtouch is only available in a darker brown and black!
It drapes like butter! My lambtouch starts to drape immediatly after I wore it a few days. It's thinner as the lambskin which wested offers and it's also much heavyless.
May you have already seen it.

About the feel. There is no feel
The lambtouch is such a lightweight. Mine is also without any leather facings on the inside. So often I really forget that I'm wearing a leather jacket.
Much regards

Can't say exactly. It should be tougher than the lamb. Michaelson also said this once. But I haven't tried to push the lambtouch yet lol
I would say that it's same tough as the lambskin. But don't forget that the lambtouch is thinner!

I have had lambtouch on several occasions, and am quite pleased with it myself. Peter has said it's thinner than lambskin, and that's more than likely the reason it drapes so easily, as cowhide usually tends to be quite heavy and long term in loosening like lambskin.
In terms of 'toughness', I only make that statement due to the fact cowhide is a denser fiber than lambskin. It will tear, but will take a bit more effort to do so.
In the long run, they may be equal in terms of actual strength, but I still give the nod to the lambtouch cowhide only due to it's physical characteristics.
If you're going for tough and drape worthiness, goatskin is the way to go.
That said, you'll be equally pleased with either hide. I own an example of both lamtouch cowhide AND lambskin, and neither have torn with use or wear.

Thanks Orb and Michaelson!
I am really wanting a TOD from Wested, but would prefer goat... Since that is not possible for the time being, I was thinking of a 2nd best.
If anyone has a TOD in 42 reg in goat or lambtouch that they want to unload, let me know!

I've made some new pictures of my Raiders Lambtouch after a few month of wear. Doesn't need to open a new thread for this.

Looking good orb!
It will only get better with wear and use.
