I ordered a strap for my mark VII, and it took just a few days from payment to delivery to me here in Portugal. It is now attached and the bag is getting used, full with writing gear and a camera whilst I'm out and about. Won't get a chance to test drive it in the field just yet but I'm itching to get back to Africa soon.
