I saw Wested's new cut jacket recently, the yoke is now smaller and the arm seams are lined up with the yoke. Your opinions please?
If you want it 1 inch lower than the yoke now is a good time to do it. I will point this thread out to Peter.

Well, if we can go for the higher yoke seam which is screen accurate, then why not?
I understand that the yoke seam lined up with the arm seam has become the norm because the leathers that Wested had available were small to allow placement of the yoke higher. This doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

i have many jackets...wool, motorcycle, suede, straight
when i want an indy jacket....i want an indy jacket...the one you see on your screen...as close as you can get it with whatever adjusting is needed to fit my frame. if i were going to settle for anything other than that then i'd have to break the bank and start buying a2's as i like those as well. if you think about it, an indy jacket with very little tolerance from the screen accurate specifications is keeping me from the poorhouse as not too many vendors can achieve this
- the above statement is the official publication from the screen accurate camp and in no way reflects the views and/or beliefs of all members and will not be imposed on our members unless there is room beneath the plymouth for me to duck into.
