Perhaps this has already been covered here on COW. I thought this before, but recently definately noticed Indy using a Colt 1911 .45 cal semi-auto in the Raven bar fight. He seems to be using a revolver at the begining of the scuffle. He certainly tosses a wheel gun in his suitcase before leaving home. Any thoughts? Is Indy packing two guns? Or just a film blooper?

He carries two (actually three) handguns in the movies. First are two different Smith and Wesson Hand Ejector Model 2s. One had grips with medalions in them and a custom ramp site. The other had a half moon site, no medallions on the grips and the bluing rubbed off at the end of the barrel. The 1911 you're talking about, wasn't a 1911 at all. It was a 9mm Browning High Power.

The semi auto fooled me. I assumed the ubiguitous 1911. I guess the Browning ties in with Indy's Belgian Army sevice. Thanks!
