Wested Responses...or lacking?

Does anyone know what's going on at Wested? I thought I was ready to buy my first Indy jacket and sent via e-mail to them the specs to get their comments on what could and could not be incorporated (a slightly modified Agent 5 type list). I got no response. I got no response to a follow up e-mail. It's been weeks, not just a few days.
Then while waiting for Wested to respond, I saw some postings that Peter is working on a screen accurate jacket, supposedly using the Agent 5 specs and not taking custom orders. But still no word from Wested.
I see a lot of praise for Peter and the Wested jacket, but my experience this time is not what I expected. I'd prefer to get a custom made jacket that is screen accurate that will fit me, rather than a generic sizing like S, M, L, XL that MAY come close to fitting properly.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Regarding sending emails I'd go ahead and try sending from an alternate address. They've had some problems with spam filters and such in the past, and that worked for me some time ago.

They've had e-mail problems since I got my first jacket in 99'. The absolute best way to contact them is by phone. Get a phone card and wake up early.
Thanks

Thanks for the quick responses, guys. I was also wondering if I should wait to see if Peter does offer the screen accurate version yet. Any word?

Whenever I've dealt with Wested it's always been by telephone and the service was spectacular.

When I ordered my Wested I went to the store and picked up a phone card and then made the call. Peter picked up the phone and I was able to talk to him for a while about my jacket. Just remember they are several hours ahead of us.

The same Problem here. Wrote, I don't know, 5-6 Emails? No response to either Peters or Gemmas adress.
Of course I could call them, but you see, I'm german and I do speak english and not the worst, but it's always like an invisible border to cross. I just hope they got my chances.

I'm sure things will all go well for these orders. I know Peter sticks his head in here on occasion, and once they're aware things are 'awry', things get back on the rail in short order.

I am sorry folks, Gemma is a true 'Gem' but if it is something she is not sure of she re routes the emails to me personally and it is I who have failed to answer. I had been thinking she had replied and it was only a copy for my reference.
Things will get better I assure you, no, can 'only' get better.
God bless Indygear and all who read her, without which my indiscretions would not have surfaced or be seen or acted on.
Consider my wrist slapped
Cheers
Peter

True to his word. Today, Peter addressed my E-mailed questions as to an "extra-long" jacket.
Sincerely,

I found Wested pretty good for cutomer service. My emails were generally answered within a day and my jacket was sent out within 20 days of ordering. No complaints here

That's the kind of customer service I was expecting from reading all the posts.
Peter did get back to me personally with a valid explanation and advise to be patient for a week or two in order to save some money if I wasn't in a rush.
So no rush, jacket season is over in Phoenix, Arizona. I can wait a few weeks to place my order.
Best regards to all and thanks for all the replies.
Mods, you can close this if there are no objections.
