At the end of the string that is attatched to the fall, there should be a little loop. Untwist the string just a tad and thread the fall through the loop. Once you've done that, loop the string itself over the fall, and thread the remaining bit through the loop you just created.
Here is a picture of what I am talking about that Adam Winrich sent me a year ago. It's how I've reattatched them ever since.

No prob! Just give 'er a few medium forward cracks to secure the knot, and then go on about your regular cracking techniques.

Hi James,
I sell crackers, $8 for 10, though just about any whipmaker sells crackers, and you can also try making your own.
I find nylon Mason's twine works pretty well.

http://www.dukewhips.com/falls.html - Seems to provide the most poppers compared to others and come within timely manner.
http://www.northernwhipco.com/Accessories.htm - excellent business but you get less then what you pay for. also provides thread to make your own.
http://www.murphywhips.com/WhipCrackers.html - (keep in mind that Mike is in Australia)
http://www.wolfpitwhips.com/ - Also sells crackers which is way cheap compared to others. "There are 30 per pack. $10 per pack. "
Then of course you have Winrich (as already said) whom I'm sure would send your poppers within a timely manner as well.
If you plan to go crack a lot and learn lots about the whip instead of a casual cracker for fun, then I'd suggest learning how to make your own which there are instructions on the net for as well.

Poppers are easy to make, and if your going to be doing a lot of cracking i agree that its best to learn how to make your own. There are instructions on how to make poppers at
http://www.bullwhip-info.com/whip_repai ... opper.html
http://www.em-brand-whips.com/makepopper.htm
and I have one up at
