Mt. Paramount

Thought this was a good shot of the mountain they used in the opening of Raiders. Look familiar? Fedora

This peak is in Hawai. I read that Lucas said there would be a waterfall in the next film. Wasn't that in Hawai as well? Close by where the opening scenes for Raiders was filmed?

Don't be surprised if you see this peak in the opening of the new film. Fedora

Hey Steve,
Which island is that peak on? Just in case I make it all the way to Hawaii, it'd be a shame not to do some island hopping.

Kauai Hawaii. I received the pic in an email from someone I don't know. Kinda a mysterious email. I wrote back with no response. Probably just someone having fun. The person did say part of the Lucas camp was there, doing something. The person also said the opening scenes of the new film would be retro Raiders, and would feature the same opening as Raiders, with the Paramount Mt, morphing into the same as in the first film. Like I say, probably just someone having fun, but I thought the pic of a man wearing a fedora was noteworthy, since he was standing in view of the famous peak. Fedora

Sweet. Is it one of your hats? Do you have a bigger picture of his face?

I took it to mean, around the time this pic was taken, somebody from Lucas was there LOOKING for something. Maybe this is a local who took the pic?

It sure doesn't look like it. This is the only pic I have, except one other, of two females, in a non Indy setting. Typical tourists photos. I was supposed to get more pics, Indy related, but never heard back. Fedora
