I got those shoes for my film project. The first time I saw them, I thought wow boots like Aldens
What do you think about the similarity :?:

Under a pantleg, they should look pretty close, though the long leg may be a bit uncomfortable under the pants.

Those are excellent! Very much like the boots Indy might have ended up wearing (see those classic preproduction illustrations). VP?

How much did you pay for them?

Kind regards,
Indy

More like Rocketeer boots. But they do look like Aldens, if they were just a little shorter.

Some really nice boots - seems they scream for adventure! Reminds me of a photograph of Thomas E. Lawrence I've seen somethere ...

May I ask, there you find those beauties?

I found them on a car boot sale and paid just 25 Euros
I´m crazy about car boot sales and so I go to every nearby my location. I got the whole props for my film now, almost everything from car boot sales  I gonna post photos as soon as I have a new camera.

It's like a jumble sale. You know.... :-)

I think it's like a flea market.

I can't see the photos, did the photo hoster drop them?

Ahhh yes, one of my favorite haunts, a flea market. My other one is in Spokane Washington it's called the White Elephant store. Kind of a surplus store, great stuff. I see the pics fine btw..........

If you consider making the bootleg shorter, than you should take them to your local shoemaker.

That's what I just did with a pair of cap toe riding boots to let them be trimmed to Alden lenght, so they'll look more like 1930s dress boots.

Henrik

Thanks, I´m on a friendly terms with my shoemaker, he made Jedi boots for me and other stuff and so he is already accustomed to my film mania

I paid 160 Euro for my Jedi boots. I designed them myself and so I worked them out together with that together.
