Yup, we've talked about it, but S&W has some nice lookig guns comming out. Since I alread have 1917, here's the one I'd like to get my paws on. 8)

Nice. I put the 3" model 29 on layaway today. Our local gun store had a S&W sale today with Mr. Roy Jinks the S&W historian in attendance. Very cool.

I bought my Model 22 for $750 (it was $790 after taxes...I've spent more on a rifle once or twice, but never so much on a pistol!), so would expect a nickel model 29 to be well over $800.

Ugh... sounds like I'll be going for a 12-gauge before I start on one of these bad boys. Oh well.
