I really can afford nice things!
Now I can sit back and truly appreciate the RS Indy Style bullwhip that folks have been raving about.
I was a little underwhelmed when I received it in the first place because of the extreme thin-ness of the last foot of the thong. It appeared as if Mr. Schultz was trying to go to miniscule lengths (pun intended) to prove a better engineered Indy whip. Problem is, you dont have enough room for core strands at the very end. This makes attaching a fall a risky proposition. I believe that you have to incorporate core strands (running through the fall hitches, mind you) to get any kind of stability in the connection.
My Indy whip started out as a ten-footer, but it's a nine footer now. In my persuit of the perfect fall-hitch, I compromised the length. It's OK because because the core strands have been incorporated, and I'm still within the bounds of screen accuracy!
PS It still handles and cracks BEAUTIFULLY !!! Not to mension how it sounds...OMG OMG OMG
