Just curious. Has anyone ordered one of Todd's jackets besides the prototype that G-mann showed us a month ago?

Once he irons out all of the little details and he's happy with the final design it should be available.....hopefully. Todd is doing these jackets all on his own.

I'm guessing by the response so far the demand for these are going to be high. I'd love to be able to buy an "off the rack" jacket like this.

from my discussion with todd, he is on the fence as he does not know if his price can be competitive enough with the current market offerings. to keep the price at what he has quoted on the website, while making the jacket on his own, that would cut his profit margin down to almost nothing.

as you know, his overseas contact for manufacturing this jacket didn't want to partake in the venture as the specifications of the jacket were too hard to meet (all the little nuances that we love and are up at arms if they were missed ). this would have been where his profit margins justify making the jacket available to the public.

i believe that if todd is going to put his raiders jacket into full production, the full blown authentic jacket as you see in the vendor announcements section, then he may have to raise the price.

DOH! I knew that...sorry to bother you fellas. But re-reading that thread, it sounded like Todd would be taking more pictures soon...today even! I'm excited about this new jacket option.
