Very nice Nammann. Great pictures, I really like the way that bullwhip turned out. Your work is getting better and better with each whip. Keep it up.

"Nammann" ... I think I've heard that name on TV show before.

Any way - nice whip! Looks very smoothly done, and I like the way the leather looks too! It doesn't look like you used any shellac on it - did you? There's not much sheen going on - not that this is a bad thing.

I put a light coating of shellac on it but its hard to see it in these pictures, I just added some more shellac to it so I will need to take another photo of it with shellac and post it to see what it will look like. Nammann is just my first initial and last name but i don't think I have ever been on T.V. yet. :lol:

9 months progress

here is a photo of the first bullwhip that I handcrafted about 9 months ago , it is 8 plait 5 feet long and it was made with cowhide. It isn't the best looking whip but not bad for the first try.
