I bought my wife a US Wings goat, and I have one coming-but they are brown brown brown! Gmann's pics (posted by Kt) are gorgeous-best of both, as it were, since my favorite has always been the look of the distressed cow from Peter.

Is that artificial acceleration on goat in those pics, or is that just pics of an older jacket? Ive always had the honor of owning second hand Indy's ( Two westeds, one lamb, one Dist. cow) so the new jacket surprised me a bit with the leather and the very dark brown coloration. Its a beautiful jacket id just like it to look more like Gmann's, if those were pics of goat.

Actually, the pics posted by KT were of GManns USWings lambskin, not goat. All of the Indy goatskins I've seen have been "new" finish, wether they were light or dark brown.

as I burrow through the forum. There are some old posts with distressed goats in here, but the pics are no longer in the posts due to bandwidth or age. Darn.....Ill keep digging for distressing techniques!

I believe that jacket of G-Manns was an USWings "Antique lamb" new out of the box, without any distressing. I thinkTone has it now.

A friend of mine got a Wested goat a couple of months ago (probably one of the last ones) and distressed it. It did look "glazed" and pretty plasticy at first, but the treatment he gave it got rid of that!
