a few more whips

Here are a couple of photos of a few more of Terry Jacka's whips, I have a heap of these photos, so if you want anything in particular let me know and I will see if I can come up with something close.
The first shot is of the thirteen and a half inch tapered handle target bulls twelve plait seven foot. I posted a similar photo before of seven foot whips, I remember some time ago Terry saying he prefered that length on his own work, saying he thought the six ft. a little too quick and the eight ft. a little too slow but the seven ft. just right for general cracking . I'm not a whip cracker so I have no idea. Does anyone have an opinion?
By the way Terry always puts the second turks head over the end of the handle foundation so the handle measurement is always from the end to the middle of the second T.H..
I noticed the straightness of the plaiting on the red and black whip, I don't know if his whips are all this straight but I think I remember it was Dan's tip about holding the end of the whip tightly in something as you plait so there is no chance of the plaiting twisting around. Budding whipmakers take note.
The second photo looks ordinary enough, just a long handled bull, but the size is a little different.
The whip is twelve ft. long with an eighteen inch handle. That is ten and a half ft. hanging off the longest target handle I've seen. It must feel like a ton, the guy might have arms like a gorilla, who knows. I like the shape though, nice taper.
