Speaking of "Creaky" leather.....

....the subject of an earlier thread.....got me to wondering, how many of y'all
like a little "creak" in your leather? As for me, I happen to like it. In my mind it sort of goes along with that leather smell as one of the
positive sensory tags of leather.
Another "plus" for HH IMO.
....just curious.

I agree. The sound and the smell of the jacket make it "feel" like it is a part of you.

I do not care for the creaky, squeaky jackets. It reminds me of the vinyl jackets from the 70's. There was a hilarious Benny Hill skit where his character was being interviewed and was wearing pleather pants and sitting on a leather couch. You could not hear any of the conversation from all the noise the pants were making.
Squeaking seems to happen more with the lighter weight horsehides I have had. The 4oz. plus ones did not really squeak. I have no idea if this is coincidence or not...

I put letaps on my lamb skin wested about two months ago and ever since then it has been squeeking like crazy!
