The Indiana Jones jacket at Planet Hollywood in Chicago.
Not so accurate, but nice A2.

You would think they would at least use one that did NOT have
handwarmer pockets!

Man...where'd you find that? I'm from Chicago and that Planet Hollywood has been gone for a LONG time.

I believe the same goes for the one in Nashville.

At the Hollywood Museum they claim the officially licenced hat with the teardrop bash and a black vinyl whip are authenic props as well, so I didn't even bother going in. Oh, those scam artists!

Could those Planet Hollywood jackets be the Wilsons jackets we've always heard about?
Hmmm....

What generally happens with these places is that the originals disappear and are replaced with an “Indiana Jones” facsimile. Lee Keppler told me that the Hard Rock in LA at one point had a TOD original (if I remember correctly), but at some point it disappeared and an A-2 type took it’s place. Cheers

What happened is they auctioned it off. This went on across the board at all the Planet Hollywood's as they sank deeper into debt.

Yeah, I never really trusted their stuff for being more than replicas generally.

I find the more you know about something, the less you'll be impressed by such claims.
Be it cars, martial arts, relics, etc...

Stick a Jake Cutter label on that one.
Cordially,
