I used the "Buy it now" feature on e-bay, and ordered the bag based on everyone's advice that the bag is worth it.
I sent the money order, and I know it got to him on Nov.21 due to registered mail tracking.
the problem I have is that I don't know what the status of my order is. Did he ship it out to me already or not? I don't know this because the guy never answered even ONE of my e-mails (the latest being three days ago to just confirm in one word if he shipped my bag out yet)
I've only sent a few e-mails to him, but not hearing anything from your seller at all is just completely discouraging.
If I get the bag and it's good quality, that's great, and my feedback will reflect that. However, the same cannot be said about my feedback regarding his communication. I can understand if a seller is very busy, but to not reply even one word is unacceptable.
I was wondering if anyone of you have had the same experience with him?
As well, if any of you know him, please pass on my concern to him. It's not good for his business anyway.
Thanks.

I didn't buy mine through ebay, but rather through his web site at:
http://hometown.aol.com/wpglory/
I believe I got mine within the week if I recall, very fast. My advice (if anyone should ask for it) is to always phone. It always lessens the chance of miscommunication and mistakes (unless of course you are ordering ANYTHING from an LL Bean rep )
Even though you bought it through ebay, Jerry should be able to answer your concerns over the phone.

Jerry has been known to be gruff with us fans in the past. But we also have a reputation of being annoying at times. I'd say, if he shipped you the product in a reasonable timeframe and it was in good condition, then you should just leave the feedback as a praise. Some of these retailers do get busy and really keeping up with the volume of email is tedious.
In my opinion, the bottom line, Jerry is a good guy. I wouldn't ding him on the lack of response as long as he delivered on the product which was the most important thing.
Anyway, that's my .02....

UPDATE: I called Jerry, and he told me that they would have shipped the bag the same day the money order arrived (Nov.21). However, when I told him I hadn't recieved it yet, he told me that for some reason, things have been taking longer to ship to Canada lately (I live in Toronto). He also told me that if I don't get it next week, I should should call him up, and he'll send another one over. Has anyone had any problems shipping items to Canada, or if you live in Canada, recieving items lately?
This kinda thing hasn't really happened to me before.

OK, Update #2.
I finally got the bag last sunday.
Here's my impressions so far.
The bag is, IMO, PERFECT. nice, tough Canvas, with just the right green tone to it. Design is eactly like the movies.
The strap is another matter though. First off, it's WAY too light brown. But it grows on you when you realize that other people will recognize it as the indybag, and that they don't care about small color details. Secondly, the buckle is lower on my chest than on Harrison's. I am 6'0 tall. But these are really minor issues that really bother me only because the bag is so great. Overall: A-

Agent-Smith,
I didn't care for the strap on mine either. So, I ordered a Raider's strap from Lee Kepler at
http://www.adventure-supply.com
At first I was a bit unsure due to the price. But i took the plunge b/c other Gearheads here in The Club gave it high marks.
I got my strap and was so surprised at the difference. I had it specially cut for my height and Lee didn't charge me extra. Next, the leather is so much better in my opinion--the feel, the color, the thickness, the softness--the WPG strap doesn't hold a candle to it. Also, I love the Kepler buckle.
Anyway, IMHO, I think the Kepler strap is worth the price. Give it a try, you won't regret it one bit.

BTW, the bag's outstanding too, eh?

Yeah, the bag completely and totally rocks. It's so perfect. Just the right amount of green tint to it, and the design is straight out of the trilogy! Oh, and it's brand-spankin' new - no musty smell. Big plus.
About the strap, I'm in the process of choosing a good Indy whip, and I don't really have the money to spend on a keppler strap. I wish I did though. However, I think it doesn't really matter all that much. The strap works out just fine, and people don't really care if it's a little lighter than in the movies (especially not when you're wearing a Wested Lambskin hehe). You get used to it...
